Editor

  • The DSP5D Editor is for use with Studio Manager V2 Host and Network Driver. Be sure to use the latest versions of both the Studio Manager V2 Host and Network Driver, Both are available from this site.
  • Use the Editor with the supported firmware listed in the following table. Using an unsupported Editor/firmware combination may result in data corruption and unexpected behavior. If a failure occurrs, initialize the DSP5D in accordance with the upgrade guide.

  • Do not use Studio Manager V2 Host via Rosetta. DSP5D Editor cannot be added to Studio Manager via Rosetta.
  • The DSP5D user data is compatible with later version Editors. Cross-platform compatibility is provided for setup data which is saved as a ".PM5" file using the DSP5D Editor.

PM5D/DSP5D Data Compatibility

  • The DSP5D Editor cannot go online during DSP5D startup.
  • Communication with the Editor automatically goes offline while the DSP5D is loading a file or synchronizing for cascade connection. Synchronize the Editor with the DSP5D after the process is completed.
  • The following operations cannot be performed on the editor when cascade connection is enabled,
    •Scene and library edting (copy, move, undo, clear, or store).
    •"PC to Console" synchronization (DSP5D).

Known problem when used on Windows 7

  • Scroll bars may not be displayed properly when the display DPI is set to 125%.

Fixed bugs

  • Fixed a problem in which the signal processing and screen statuses were not identical when patching the same port simultaneously to each Insert Out in the Input Patch library and Output Patch library by for example, recalling a library which inserts the same GEQ module.
