Only the installer software of the driver V1.2.1 has been changed. No other function has been added to the driver for this version.

Improvement

  • The error message that appeared in the installer when the number of the installed MIDI drivers is already at maximum (OS dependent, up to 10), has been changed as follows:
    "An additional MIDI driver cannot be installed on this computer. Please remove any unused MIDI drivers, and try again."
    * "Failed to set registry." appeared in the earlier version.

Changes

  • The version numbers that appeared in the following situations were changed from 3-digit to 4-digit. For example, "1.2.1.2" is appeared when the version number is V1.2.1-2.

Fixed Bugs

  • Fixed a problem in which the icon of the DME-N Network Driver was installed to the control panel even though the installer showed the error message and quit without installing the driver when the maximum numbers of MIDI drivers were installed to a 64-bit OS.

  • The DME-N Network Driver control panel is now displayed in the "Sounds, Speech, and Audio Devices" category or "Hardware and Sound" category when the view setting for the control panel is set to "Category View".

Fixed Bugs

  • Fixed a problem which might occur when uninstalling the DME-N Network Driver V1.2.0.
  • Fixed a problem in which the installation process might finish in an incomplete status without any messages to terminate the installation if you installed the driver without restarting your computer after uninstalling the older driver.
  • Fixed a problem in which the changed settings could not be reflected when you clicked the buttons on the control panel such as the [Apply] button.
  • Fixed a problem which might occur when you entered illegal values beyond the range in entry fields such as Device IP Address or Device Port No.
  • Fixed a problem in which the Device Mac Address field could not be grayed out properly.
  • Fixed a problem in which key shortcuts could not be performed.

Fixed Bugs

  • Fixed a problem in which an existing MIDI driver such as a USB MIDI driver would not sometimes work after the DME-N Network Driver was installed.
  • Fixed a problem that Studio Manager would sometimes unexpectedly quit when enabling both the MIDI port of the DME-N Network Driver used by DME Designer and another MIDI port of the DME-N Network Driver in Studio Manager.
  • Fixed a problem in which the synchronization between M7CL/LS9 Editor and the M7CL/LS9 would sometimes stop.
  • Fixed a problem in which the [Apply] button in the DME-N Network Driver control panel would sometimes not work properly when the device settings were changed.
  • Fixed a problem in which the MAC address of the device which had been deleted last would be shown if a device IP address was input after all devices were deleted by pressing the [Remove] button on the DME-N Network Driver control panel.
  • A warning message indicating that the settings cannot be changed now appears if the DME-N Network Driver control panel is opened with an account other than administrative account.
  • The warning message "Quit all applications that use the DME-N Network Driver in order to change settings" now appears when you try to save the DME-N Network Driver settings while an application is using the driver. Quit all applications that use the driver to change the settings.
  • The initial view of the Target Device List on the DME-N Network Driver control panel is now shown properly without a horizontal scroll bar.

  • Fixed a problem that the computer could not communicate with the DME in a condition unless the computer was not restarted again, when the first device was registered on the control panel after the DME-N Network Driver was installed and then the computer was restarted.

  • A forced termination causes when quitting from DME Designer after changing IP address. This is caused with some specific PC.
  • A forced termination causes when quitting from DME Designer after disconnecting a network cable. This is caused after making network connection with DME by using some specific PC.
  • A forced termination causes when launching Studio Manager after disconnecting a network cable. This is caused after making LS9 Editor online and quitting from it.

Fixed Bugs

  • There was a problem that when unplugging the Ethernet cable between the M7CL and a computer to which the DME-N Network Driver V1.1.0 and the M7CL Editor was installed after connecting to the M7CL online via computer and closing the M7CL Editor, the Editor could occasionally not be reconnected online. This problem was fixed by using the M7CL V1.11 with the DME-N Network Driver V1.1.1.
  • Devices not selected on the Target Device List, which was being sorted from the "DME-N Network Driver" window, would be also deleted by clicking the REMOVE button.

Fixed Bugs

  • DME-N Network Driver now supports multi-client operation. DME-N Network Driver is available for multiple host applications (DME Designer, Studio Manager, etc.) simultaneously.
  • All the devices can be sorted in the Target Device List. Devices can be removed, duplicated or undone on the control panel.
  • Using the Auto Detect function, devices connected on the network are automatically detected. The driver then adds them to a list of detected devices, among which any preferable devices are registered to the Target Device List.
  • The [TCP/TCP-KEEPALIVE] setting has been removed from the control panel and it is always set to TCP-KEEPALIVE.
  • While a host application (DME Designer, Studio Manager, etc.) is using the DME-N Network Driver, the DME-N Network Driver settings cannot be changed.
  • The configuration can be saved to or read from a file.
