PM5D
Firmware

V1.21

Fixed Bugs

  1. When an MY16-AE card or MY16-TD card was inserted into PM5D, noise could have very occasionally appeared on input channels 9-16.
  2. When a set of MY16MADI64 cards were inserted into PM5D, these cards were wrongly recognized as MY8-AE cards. (These cards should be recognized as MY16-AT cards). Therefore, only signals from the first 8 channels of each card could be used, rather than all 16.

V1.20

New Features

The output channels along with their names can be now shown on each screen.
This can be done by naming them in the NAME screen, which has been added to the OUTPUT PATCH function.
(However, this is not available for the CH COPY, GLOBAL PASTE and CSV IMPORT/EXPORT functions.)

Fixed Bugs

  1. When two channels were paired from the PM5D Editor while the PM5D was being previewed, the PM5D Editor did not show them as a pair.
  2. When a signal was sent from paired input channels to paired MIX channels (FIXED type) on the CH to MIX screen, the four SEND ON/OFF buttons were not linked with each other.
  3. The LED of the [PRE] key for the ST IN 1-4 channels, which should have stayed dimly lit by the PANEL ASSISTANCE setting, did not light.
  4. A bit in the data of the digital signal (the Audio bit of Channel Status) output via the AES/EBU MY-Cards (MY16-AE etc.) was incorrect.
  5. Presets 001-003 of the output EQ library now have the same library data as presets 030-032 (Total EQ 1-3) of the input EQ library data as presets 030-032 (Total EQ 1-3) of the input EQ library.

V1.17

Fixed Bugs

  1. PM5D sometimes hung-up when PM5D was online with the PM5D Editor for a long time.
  2. PM5D did not reflect the change when channels were paired in the PM5D Editor.
  3. Even protected scenes were pasted by the GLOBAL PASTE function when the LINKED LIBRARY PROTECTION setting wais ON in the PREFERENCE page.
  4. Green LEDs for STIN 1 PRE, STIN 2 PRE and ACTIVE CUE OUTPUT were a little darker compared to the other green LEDs when the PANEL BRIGHTNESS setting was low.
  5. SLOT FORMAT setting reverted to the default value (DOUBLE CHANNEL) after switching the power on again when using the Y96K card.
  6. The Fs data setting of the Channel Status remained “88.2/96kHz” even if the PM5D( INT 96/88.2kHz ) transmitted a “48/44.1kHz” signal with the SRC function.
  7. The “CH to MIX” RECALL SAFE function of unpaired MIX buses behaved as that of paired MIX buses when the other paired MIX buses existed.

V1.15

Fixed Bugs

  1. PM5D sometimes freezes when you turn the DATA encoder wheel too quickly to change the selected channel setting in the OUTPUT channel view screen.
  2. The AES/EBU channel status data from the following Mini-YGDAI cards to external equipment is wrong when they are inserted into PM5D.
    • MY8-AE
    • MY16-AE
    • MY8-AE96
    • MY8-AE96S

V1.14

Fixed Bugs

PM5D freezes when continuous SCENE recall triggers are received by MIDI, GPI or CASCADE, because of a feedback-loop.

V1.13

Fixed Bugs

  1. Recalling a scene with Recall Safe/Selective Recall enabled is very slow.
  2. When performing Recall UNDO after recalling a scene that has no linked library, patch/HA parameters are wrongly restored to their state previous to recalling a scene that had some linked libraries.
  3. When HA parameters are restored by Recall UNDO, the changes are not reflected correctly to the audio, although indicators are updated correctly.
  4. When HA parameters are restored by loading current scene data from PCMCIA card, the changes are not reflected correctly to the audio, although indicators are updated correctly.
  5. When HA libraries are recalled continuously and quickly, some HA parameters are sometimes not updated correctly.
  6. Performing FILE SAVE/RENAME/MAKE with some name after a CUT (Ctrl-X) action causes the system to freeze.
  7. On Recall Safe/Selective Recall screen, when both "All" and "CH to Mix" are enabled, most parameters of MIX bus are not excluded from recalling scenes, although "All" is selected.
  8. On Selective Recall screen, when "RECALL PARAMETER mode" is selected, almost all parameters are always recalled regardless of the setting of "RECALL PARAMETERS".
