MGP32X, MGP24X firmware V1.10

Important Notice

When first using a USB memory immediately following purchase or formatting with the MGP32X and MGP24X, and after pressing the record button, a message such as “Storage Full!” may appear on the screen (depending on the USB memory), after which it may be impossible to use the USB recorder function.
This is due to an error relating to the information on the free space in the USB memory immediately following purchase or formatting. If the information on the free space in the USB memory is initialized, it might take too much time for the mixer to analyze the amount of free space.
This error can be avoided by copying a file into the USB memory, or performing some other file operation on it, thereby updating the free space information.
When using a USB memory with the MGP32X and MGP24X, it is recommended that you first conduct the operation described above.

(If the abovementioned condition occurs)
Remove the USB memory from the mixer and turn the power off and then on again. When you use the USB memory again, carry out a file operation on a computer such as copying a file into the USB memory
  • As transfer speed requirements are strict for recordings made in WAV format, normal recording may not be possible when using USB memory. Accordingly, we recommend recording to a hard disk with a fast transfer speed or to an SSD (Solid State Drive). When recording in MP3 format, USB memory, hard disk, and SSD may all be used.
  • When you update the firmware, it is necessary that your USB flash memory is formatted by FAT32. Check the file system of your USB flash memory and format it to FAT32 if necessary.
    For Windows:
Select the FAT32 file system in the format dialog.
    For Macintosh:
Use Disk Utility and select the MS-DOS(FAT) format.
Please refer to the help file of your computer's operating systems to obtain more details.
