Yamaha adds to its commercial audio team

Yamaha has added a new member to its Commercial Audio team, with the appointment of Naomi Wilkinson in the company’s sales and marketing support department.

Acting as a first point of call for Yamaha Commercial Audio dealers and end users, Naomi brings an excellent range of skills to the position, having a background in both marketing and the performing arts.

She joins Yamaha from Sound UK, an independent event production agency, and has also undertaken key roles at the Bath Festival and as a founding director of the Cellardoor Theatre Company.

“Naomi’s background in event production, the performing arts and key marketing positions made her the outstanding candidate for this role,” says Karl Christmas, Deputy General Manager, Commercial Audio.

“We strive to offer a consistently high level of customer service and will be using her skills to the full, in order to continually improve our pre-and post-sales marketing activities.”

“With Yamaha products being used across the entire professional audio industry, I am very much looking forward to the challenge of getting to know and working with the company’s many dealers and end-users,” adds Naomi.

“My role is to meet their existing needs quickly and efficiently, while helping the team to develop and implement marketing strategies for new products and technologies as they become available.”
