Yamaha Nuage Wins Another Award

June, 2014

Yamaha’s Nuage post-production system has won another award, topping the category of Best Audio Technology for Recording, Post Production and ProAudio at a new annual awards ceremony hosted by Spanish broadcast and AV magazine Panorama.

The awards were presented at a gala held at Feria de Madrid (IFEMA), coinciding with the opening of the 2014 BIT Broadcast trade show.

Voted for by over 5,200 readers of the Spanish, US and Brazilian editions of Panorama magazine, the three products receiving the most votes in each category were presented to an 11-strong jury of independent industry specialists, who then voted in a secret ballot for the winners.

“The broadcast and creative media industries have gone through difficult times recently, but new technologies are opening up new opportunities for creating, producing and broadcasting content, which are consequently creating interest, excitement and enthusiasm in millions of people,” says Panorama director Antonio Castillo.

The award for Nuage was received by Javier Ochoa, Director of ProMusic and ProAudio at Yamaha Music Europe Ibérica.

“We were very pleased that Nuage was nominated in the Panorama Awards, which aim to recognise product development and innovation in all areas of the industry, helping to stimulate growth and encouraging organisations to make better use of technology,” he says.

“To win the award was a great bonus. It shows that the industry - our customers - shares our belief that Nuage is a genuinely better and exciting alternative for the post-production industry, whose intuitive use, flexibility and audio quality will make a real difference to studios and media creators.”

Nuage has previously won the 2013 Resolution Award for best desk controller and Japan’s prestigious 2013 Good Design Award.
