Can I control the MY8-LAKE card from a mixing console, such as a CL series console?

Can I control the MY8-LAKE card on the same network as other Lake devices?

Yes, you can. Lake Controller software enables you to control the MY8-LAKE card along with Lab.gruppen's PLM or LM series products on the same network. However, the Lake Controller version 6.0 does not support Lake devices that were released prior to and including the Dolby Lake Processor. Also, while the MY8-LAKE can share the same network with other Lake devices, it cannot be simultaneously controlled by controllers in different versions.
To do so, the controller software supporting the respective Lake devices must be launched each time.

How can I patch between the MY8-LAKE and console?

In the case of using the MY8-LAKE as a system EQ or an input EQ, you insert the MY8-LAKE to output bus or input channel of console.
In the case of using as a crossover, output processed audio signal after returning it to other MIX bus or MATRIX bus.
Also, routing for input and output of the MY8-Lake can be changed over LAKE Controller.

Can I output audio processed by the MY8-LAKE card from another Mini-YGDAI slot, without routing the signal back to a console?

No. A console does not support direct patching between Mini-YGDAI slots. So, you must route audio processed by the MY8-LAKE back to the console, then output from another Mini-YGDAI slot. Alternatively, the audio can be output directly from the AES/EBU connector on the MY8-LAKE card.
