DME Series V3

• Install DME Designer V3.8.x for simultaneous compatibility with both hardware specifications: V3.5x or earlier and V3.8x.  (note that MY4-AEC cannot be used with DME Designer V3.8.x, as MY4-AEC requires V4.0 or later).
• The hardware specification for DME Firmware V3.5x or earlier differs from the one for Firmware V3.8x or later. Therefore firmware V3.5x or earlier cannot be upgraded to V3.81 or later. Also, firmware V3.81 or later cannot be downgraded to V3.5x or earlier.

DME Series V4

[Caution] 

• For the following cases, the DME-N firmware must be upgraded from V3.8x to V4, and also DME Designer V4 is required to design/control the system.
  - In the case where you want acoustic echo cancellation for remote conferencing using DME-N and MY4-AEC card.
  - In the case where you want to integrate a DME-N V3.8x unit to the existing DME-N V4 system.
• DME Designer V4 cannot design/control the system that consists of DME Firmware V3 units or the mixed system with Firmware V3 and V4 units. It is required to unify the system version to V3 or V4 by upgrading/downgrading DME Designer or firmware
