3x2way

In this relatively simple system the audio signal is distributed to three 2-way speakers using the SP2060 "3 x 2 Way" configuration. Stereo power amps are provided for each speaker, with the two amplifier channels independently driving the high-frequency and low-frequency units.

2x2way+2xAUX

High-definition reproduction can be achieved by using the SP2060 "2 x 2 Way + 2 x Aux" and using separate stereo power amplifiers to drive the high-frequency and low-frequency units of a pair of stereo speakers. This configuration also provides two auxiliary lines to distribute the sound to separate locations such as a lobby and dressing room using the XH200 power amplifier, for example, to drive a high-impedance speaker system.

Large Scale Sound System

This type of speaker processing might be useful in a concert hall or other large-scale speaker system. A DME64N Digital Mixing Engine is used to route the PM5D console output directly to the power amplifiers that drive the auxiliary sound systems for under-balcony, lobby, and dressing rooms. The main speaker array is driven by amplifiers fed by a pair of SP2060 units that divide the audio into high, mid, low, and subwoofer bands. The SP2060 is optimized for use with Yamaha's high-performance Installation Series speakers, but it will provide superior processing performance with any quality speaker system.

Installation Case

The ancient Adriatic port of Porto San Giorgio is a historic town, popular with tourists and famous for its annual chess tournament and festival of the sea. Now, however, Yamaha loudspeakers and amplifiers have brought a new attraction to its nightlife.

Installation Case

When two new churches were recently built adjacent to each other in the Romanian city of Oradea (Nagyvárad), the Transylvanian Baptist community were keen to install up-to-date professional AV systems in both which would work independently, but could also work as one system when needed. Hungarian audio specialists Studiotech Hungary were appointed to supply and install the system, choosing Yamaha equipment as the heart of the solution.
