Lecture Room: Small

System Features

  • This system features a digital matrix processor.
  • Support speakers are positioned around the room for uniform delivery.
  • CD, Blu-ray disc, and other sources can be played back in stereo.
  • A DCP1V4S control panel on the podium allows easy volume adjustment and preset selection.
  • With multiple processing functions such as equalization and feedback suppression built into a single convenient unit, the MTX3 can reduce cabling requirements and thereby limit problems such as shorts or bad connections that can occur over time, for example. Installation as well as repair and maintenance costs are reduced as well.
  • The feedback suppressor built into the MTX3 automatically detects and prevents annoying feedback while at the same time protecting the system’s speakers from feedback damage.
  • The MTX3 scene memory can store up to 50 complete setups that can be instantly recalled whenever needed, making it easy to switch setups for a variety of applications.
  • XMV series amplifier settings can also be stored in and recalled from the MTX3 scene memory, significantly reducing the amount of time and effort required to set up the overall system.
  • The MTX3 equalizer can be an effective tool for increasing clarity and intelligibility.
  • Since the MTX3 features processing data for Yamaha speaker systems built in, it’s easy to achieve optimum sound and matching while protecting the speakers against overload damage.

Installation and Administration Features

  • The dedicated brackets supplied with VXS8 speakers can be used for convenient wall or ceiling mounting. A temporary attachment feature allows the installer to quickly position the bracket and then use both hands to safely and securely do the final installation.
  • The VXC6W has a temporary “Anti-Drop tab” attachment feature that allows the installer to quickly position the mount bracket and then use both hands to safely do the final installation.
  • The lower power consumption of Yamaha power amplifiers contributes directly to reduced running cost. Low heat generation is another advantage, resulting in longer life as well as reduced repair and maintenance costs.
  • The XMV4280 power amplifier can be set up to drive low and high impedance loads in 2-channel groups, so a single unit can simultaneously power low and high impedance speaker systems.

* YDIF is a proprietary Yamaha connection protocol that dramatically simplifies installation while allow flexible system expansion.
