System Features

  • This system features a digital mixing engine that also provides zoning capability.
  • Overall system routing and processing is handled by a single DME64N unit in the amp room.
  • Different sources can be fed to six zones as required: the entrance, two zones in the main area (blue and green), rest rooms, large video monitors in the main area, and the bar area video monitors.
  • Two IF2108 speakers are provided for each large video monitor, allowing stereo reproduction of the video sound. An SW115V subwoofer is also provided for each large monitor, to deliver solid low frequencies.
  • Sound for the bar area video monitors is delivered via VXS5 speakers.
  • Surface mounted VS4 speakers provide sound for the entrance area.
  • ICP1 and CP4SF control panels mounted in the bar area allow convenient volume control for each zone as well as preset selection.
  • Equalizers, speaker processors, and a multitude of other audio components that can be configured and combined via a computer application give the DME64N the flexibility and scalability to deliver optimum functionality and performance in an extremely wide range of applications.
  • The DME64N scene memory can store up to 999 complete setups that can be instantly recalled whenever needed, making it easy to switch setups for a variety of applications.
  • The DME64N equalizer component can be an effective tool for increasing clarity and intelligibility.
  • The DME64N Ambient Noise Compensator component automatically adjusts volume levels to compensate for ambient noise so that the program material is always clear and intelligible regardless of changes in the number of people in the area, for example.
  • The DME64N Event Scheduler component works with the DME64N WAV File Player to play back specified sounds, such as regular pre-recorded announcements or chimes, at predetermined times without the need for any external equipment. It’s also possible to control external GPI-capable devices on a predetermined schedule.

Installation and Administration Features

  • The dedicated brackets supplied with VXS5 speakers can be used for convenient wall or ceiling mounting. A temporary attachment feature allows the installer to quickly position the bracket and then use both hands to safely and securely do the final installation.
  • Refined design and compact, unobtrusive mounting hardware help the VXS5 blend in rather than detracting from the interior décor.
  • The VXC series speakers have a temporary “Anti-Drop tab” attachment feature that allows the installer to quickly position the mount bracket and then use both hands to safely do the final installation.
  • The VXC series includes black-finished models with black grilles for a wider range of interior décor matching options.
  • The lower power consumption of Yamaha power amplifiers contributes directly to reduced running cost. Low heat generation is another advantage, resulting in longer life as well as reduced repair and maintenance costs.
