System Features

  • A digital mixing engine is used in this system to provide 6.1 surround playback capability.
  • Processing, routing, and surround system control are handled by a single DME64N unit.
  • Installation Series speakers feature precisely controlled phase characteristics. Minimal phase interference means consistently high sound quality at any listening point within the speaker’s service area.
  • Equalizers, speaker processors, and a multitude of other audio components that can be configured and combined via a computer application give the DME64N the flexibility and scalability to deliver optimum functionality and performance in an extremely wide range of applications.
  • Since the DME64N speaker processor component features processing data for Yamaha speaker systems built in, it’s easy to achieve optimum sound and matching while protecting the speakers against overload damage.
  • The DME64N delay component can be used to precisely compensate for distance delay between speakers for clear, well-defined sound. Proper delay compensation also makes it possible to achieve optimum sound quality and imaging without having to use excessive volume levels.
  • The DME64N Event Scheduler component works with the DME64N WAV File Player to play back specified sounds, such as regular pre-recorded announcements or chimes, at predetermined times without the need for any external equipment. It’s also possible to control external GPI-capable devices on a predetermined schedule.

Installation and Administration Features

  • The lower power consumption of Yamaha power amplifiers contributes directly to reduced running cost. Low heat generation is another advantage, resulting in longer life as well as reduced repair and maintenance costs.
