Banquet Room: Large

System Features

  • This system is based around a digital mixing engine and Dante network that will serve multiple room partitions.
  • The large banquet room can be divided into as many as four partitions, but the arrangement is flexible so the area can be partitioned as rooms A+B and room C+D, or rooms A+B+C and D, for example.
  • Overall system routing and processing is handled by two cascaded DME64N digital mixing engines.
  • When the entire area (rooms A through D) is used as a single large banquet hall the CL1 digital mixing console in the control room is used for overall control, while the individual 01V96i digital mixing consoles provided in each room are used when the room is partitioned. The use of console style mixers makes it easy to accommodate live music events.
  • With a 48-input I/O rack in the room, microphone and line connections are quick and convenient.
  • Since microphones and other audio sources can be connected to the I/O rack in the room, analog cable runs are minimized for the highest possible signal transmission quality. Cable installation, maintenance, and repair costs are reduced as well.
  • The CL1 connects to the I/O rack via a Dante network using CAT5e cabling that makes setup easy while also reducing the amount of cabling required.
  • Support speakers are positioned around the room for uniform delivery.
  • Equalizers, speaker processors, and a multitude of other audio components that can be configured and combined via a computer application give the DME64N the flexibility and scalability to deliver optimum functionality and performance in an extremely wide range of applications.
  • The DME64N scene memory can store up to 999 complete setups that can be instantly recalled whenever needed, making it easy to switch setups for a variety of applications.
  • The DME64N Room Combiner component makes it easy to change room partition or division configurations to suit the type of event or number of participants to be accommodated.
  • The CL1 allows 2-track recording direct to USB memory. Steinberg Nuendo Live DAW software is also included, allowing high-quality multitrack live recording of up to 64 tracks.
  • The 01V96i digital mixing consoles in rooms A through D can be positioned as required by the application and connected to the nearest of multiple Ethernet ports provided around the rooms.
  • The 01V96i supports audio streaming, so that with appropriate DAW software installed on a computer, the console and computer can be connected via a single USB cable to allow 16-in/16-out multitrack live recording.

Installation and Administration Features

  • Audio communication between the amp room, control room, the control desks in each banquet room, and the I/O rack is handled by a Dante network via CAT5e cabling that reduces the amount of cabling required while preventing signal degradation during transmission. Cost for changes and repairs to the cabling infrastructure is reduced as well.
  • Installation series white speakers harmonize gracefully with just about any interior décor.
  • Since a single IPA8200 provides eight speaker outputs, amp purchase cost and installation space can be significantly reduced.
