House of Worship: Medium

System Features

  • This system uses dual digital mixing engines and a Dante network to provide high input and output capacity.
  • An L/C/R house speaker system allows accurate control of imaging so the sound can be positioned to closely follow a speaker or performer.
  • The IS1218 subwoofer enhances the low frequencies for added sonic breadth and impact.
  • Four foldback monitors are provided on stage so that speakers and performers in the sanctuary can hear themselves clearly.
  • Two foldback monitors are provided so that the choir can hear themselves clearly.
  • Installation Series speakers feature precisely controlled phase characteristics. Minimal phase interference means consistently high sound quality at any listening point within the speaker’s service area.
  • Overall system routing and processing is handled by two cascaded DME64N digital mixing engines.
  • The CL5 digital mixing console is ideally suited to instrumental performances.
  • With a 64-input I/O rack in the sanctuary, microphone and line connections are quick and convenient.
  • The CL5 connects to the I/O rack via a Dante network using CAT5e cabling that makes setup easy while also reducing the amount of cabling required.
  • Equalizers, speaker processors, and a multitude of other audio components that can be configured and combined via a computer application give the DME64N the flexibility and scalability to deliver optimum functionality and performance in an extremely wide range of applications.
  • The DME64N scene memory can store up to 999 complete setups that can be instantly recalled whenever needed, making it easy to switch setups for a variety of applications.
  • The DME64N delay component can be used to precisely compensate for distance delay between speakers for clear, well-defined sound. Proper delay compensation also makes it possible to achieve optimum sound quality and imaging without having to use excessive volume levels.
  • The CL5 allows 2-track recording direct to USB memory. Steinberg Nuendo Live DAW software is also included, allowing high-quality multitrack live recording of up to 64 tracks.

Installation and Administration Features

  • Audio communication between the amp room, the FOH, and the I/O rack is handled by a Dante network via CAT5e cabling that reduces the amount of cabling required while preventing signal degradation during transmission. Cost for changes and repairs to the cabling infrastructure is reduced as well.
  • The lower power consumption of Yamaha power amplifiers contributes directly to reduced running cost. Low heat generation is another advantage, resulting in longer life as well as reduced repair and maintenance costs.
