Plav Audio Purchases Canada’s First NEXO GEO T Rig

August, 2010

With it’s small size and high output ratio, NEXO GEO T is PLAV Audio's pick for the La Fête du Lac Des Nations; a six–day musical festival

QUEBEC, Canada—Plav Audio, Inc. (Sherbrooke, Quebec) recently purchased Canada´s first NEXO GEO T rig, accommodating the growing number of requests for NEXO systems in and around Quebec. The NEXO line array made its debut at La Fête du Lac des Nations, a six–day festival that took place in Sherbrooke in mid–July at Parc Jacques–Cartier. The event hosted more than 30 musical shows featuring artists from Quebec and abroad. With two shows per evening, the festival entertained over 40,000.

Plav Audio´s new NEXO GEO T system consists of 16 x GEO T4805, four GEO T2815, eight RS18 Ray Subs, eight 4x4 NXAmps with EtherSound cards, and four CD18s. “We purchased the GEO T based on its small size and high output ratio,” states Paul Lavigne. “Many times, we have to install a system on a mobile stage and can be limited on height and weight. The GEO T is the only system that fits the criteria with such amazing tone in a small package.” Lavigne says the RS18 Ray Subs were chosen because of their versatility—Omni or Cardio mode, and again, the small size and high output ratio was a major factor.

Plav Audio is also providing the NEXO GEO T line array to the 15th Canadian National Harley Davidson Rally taking place in a 300´ long interior stadium in Quebec August 5–7.
