      February.7th .2017. Shizuoka, Japan– Yamaha has announced the launch of Version 3 of our MTX/MRX Series signal processors, which include “Dugan automixer”, at ISE 2017.

      AES67 Support for TF Series with NY64-D Dante Card

      Yamaha’s popular TF series gain significantly expanded audio networking capability with firmware update version 3.1, scheduled for release in March 1st 2017. The update will allow TF Series equipped with an NY64-D Dante interface card to connect to audio networks such as Ravenna that support the AES67 audio-over-IP interoperability standard.

      CL/QL Version 4.1 supports AES67, additional Shure wireless receivers, and more!

      April 21st 2017.       NEXO System Deployed for Big Night

      Big Night Chicago, part of the Big Night© America New Year’s Eve Series, is the largest New Year's Eve party in the country. And, once again this year, Sound Works Productions, Inc. (Mokena, IL) deployed a NEXO GEO S12 line array system to ring in 2017 at the event held in the historic Palmer House Hotel.       Sound Works Pro Supports Women's March in Chicago

      A crowd of 250,000 gathered for the Women's March in Chicago on January 21, the day after the Presidential Inauguration, making it one of the largest protests in the city’s history. The event, held to show solidarity among women and on behalf of many groups, grew so large that supporters flooded into the streets. It was the third-largest Women's March held across seven continents and in hundreds of cities.

      Nomad Covers SXSW With Yamaha and NEXO

      South by Southwest might be over, but Nomad Sound (Austin) is still reveling in the amount of stages and audio equipment they provided. The main Waterloo Stage, one of the largest stages, entertained packed-to-capacity crowds with performances by Spoon, Modern English, minus the bear, and Mike Posner, featured a Yamaha RIVAGE PM10 Digital Audio Console at front house, a CL5 monitor console, six per side NEXO GEO S 1210/1230 line arrays over six RS18 Ray Subs, and seven PS15R2 monitors on deck. Two GEO S12s were used for front fills, all driven by 4x4 NXAmps.

      SE Systems Covers MerleFest with Yamaha and NEXO

      MerleFest celebrated its 30th anniversary this past April and is long considered one of the premier music festivals in the country. Held on the campus of Wilkes Community College in Wilkesboro, North Carolina, the festival was founded in 1988 in memory of the late Eddy Merle Watson, son of American music legend Doc Watson. MerleFest is a celebration of ‘traditional plus’ music, a unique mix based on the traditional, roots-oriented sounds of the Appalachian region including bluegrass and old-time music, and expanded to include Americana, country, blues, rock, and many other styles.

      Full Court University Basketball Gym Gets NEXO Overhaul

      NCAA Division II varsity collegiate institution Southern New Hampshire University (SNHU) recently upgraded the Fieldhouse sound system with a NEXO GEO S12 line array. Home to the school’s full court basketball gym and with assistance from MFI Productions of Hooksett (NH), the Fieldhouse now boasts a line array system that will provide even and amplified acoustics to the 2,000-seat bleachers and floor seating.
