Randy started his live sound reinforcement career in 1973 touring with Elvis Presley. Some of the artists he has worked with since then include Bette Midler, The Moody Blues, Elton John, The Rolling Stones, Boz Scaggs, Billy Joel, Diana Ross, Paul Anka, Engelbert Humperdinck, Chicago, Lionel Richie, Madonna, Paul Simon, Don Henley, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Kenny Rogers, Janet Jackson, Amy Grant, and Michael W. Smith.
In the early nineties Randy started mixing for Michael Jackson, a position which lasted for nearly eight years. He also toured with other artists, and was one of the monitor mixers for Barbra Streisand on her return to live performances on New Year's Eve 1993. He was part of the Emmy winning team for the HBO Special that followed.
Yamaha Commercial Audio lured Randy away from touring in 1997. He also was involved with the development of Yamaha's flagship digital console, PM1D, and mixed monitors for the 2002 Grammy Awards. Randy now works as a District Manager for Yamaha, but continues to mix for David Foster and the Billy Graham Evangelical Association in his free time.
