Yamaha Sound System Simulator is an innovative software program that offers a precise and easy-to-use simulation of sound pressure level distribution, frequency response, and other attributes when installing speakers in any type of venue.
This free software gives you simulated results of Installation Series speakers for your venue. "Auto" features allow automatic placement of optimal speaker model(s) at optimal location(s), and can also provide equalization and delay settings for your venue. Simulated settings may be immediately exported to DME series products or the SP2060 processor, leaving you with plenty of time to make further adjustments and find tuning of your system.
Simulation of the system starts by designing the venue. Select the venue geometry from five templates: Rectangular, Fan, Circle, Cross, and Polygon.
Floor Edit allows to better determine the shape of the simulation venue.
Settings such as humidity, temperature, calculation precision, phase consideration, etc. can be configured under "Project Properties".
Speakers can be chosen from the preset library. Various conditions for the speaker array can be set under "Speaker Property".
Output settings such as amplifier input level, delay, PEQ, gain, attenuation, amplifier drive mode, etc can be checked or altered.
Balloon data is displayed for each frequency to check directivity of speaker array.
Results are displayed with visualized diagrams and also can be checked with your ears through auralization.
Output configuration is automatically generated, and can be saved in DME format.
A complete report of simulated results and system configurations is generated into one HTML file.
